Mywalit Leather: Color, Color, Color

Color is everywhere this summer. After receiving numerous comments from customers begging us to bring back the Italian leather line from Mywalit, we finally did!

I must admit, this is one beautiful line of wallets, handbags, checkbook holders, coin purses, card holders and passport covers. Not only are they colorful and fun but they are practical and functional too. Have you ever had to search around the bottom of your purse looking for a dark wallet? These wallets are super easy to find.

This past year, I noticed women would be paying for a gift at our counter in the shop and out would pop one of these Mywalits that the customer had previously purchased from us years ago. We would hear stories about how wonderful and long-lasting the wallets have been, how beautiful they are, and how strangers would often inquire as to where these wallets could be purchased. Well, we are happy to help you out!

Mywalit is now available again in our Main Street shop and on our website www.rhballard.com.

Add a dash of elegant color to your life with these lovely leather wallets and bags. Start shopping now!

We sold out of our first shipment of MyWalit Hobo handbags but more colors and styles are on the way! This bag has a gorgeous interior with a large detachable wallet inside and other organizational pockets.  We have just one of these left in the shop.  Please call to order: 540-675-1411.

This holds a checkbook, coins, cash, and has 20 slots for cards. This is definitely my kind of card holder!

Multi-slots for cash, coins, cards, with an all around zipper to keep it all secure.

This has been a popular color combination with our customers. It comes with a pen, slots for cards, and sections for cash and receipts.

I would use this when I want to travel light.  There are interior slots for cards, coins and cash.  Love the Lime-Orange-Turquoise combination in this coin purse.

I have a thing about unique and beautiful purses, totes and handbags....and I know I am not alone.  I love following trends in handbag design and awards are given out every year to notable and new bag designers.

The Fifth Annual 2011 Independent Handbag Designer Awards were just announced and there were some stunning designs that took top honors.  These awards are sponsored by InStyle Magazine and Handbag Designer 101 and take place in New York City each year. According to Accessories Magazine, there were 40 featured finalists and handbags which were ultimately narrowed down to 1200. Designers from all over the world took part in this competition, and there were a total of nine categories.

The "Audience Fan Favorite Award" was voted on by InStyle Readers, and after over 334,500 votes were tallied this award went to Neide Ambrosio Martins de Souza (her amazing bag seen above), a 69 year old designer from Brazil.  Her bag featured over 1,000 recycled pop tabs, and it was also given "The Most Socially Responsible Award".
